The cottage is on the Shieldaig to Applecross road in the small hamlet of Arrina, over looking Loch Torridon. Close to the house there is a secluded bay and pebble beach,. The cottage enjoys unrivalled views of the Torridon mountains. Between the village and Applecross there is a superb panorama of the Isles of Rona, Raasay and Skye. The area is ideal for all outdoor activities; climbing, walking, fishing, bird watching to mention a few. Or you might prefer to relax and enjoy the splendid views. There is excellent food at both Shieldaig Hotel and the Applecross Inn, which is renowned for its seafood. The cottage provides ideal family accommodation, sleeping four. The entrance is through a sunroom, with beautiful views across the Upstairs there is one double bedroom, with 5' bed, and one twin bedroom. Between the two bedrooms is a shower room. Bedlinen with duvets, towels and tea towels are provided. Water is on a private untreated supply so it will differ from a mains source. If you are unsure about this, bringing some bottled water might be wise. The cottage is within an area of common grazing, making it unsuitable for pets. You are asked to arrive after Heating is by open fire and free-standing electric heaters.
